A grandchild of four survivors of the Holocaust, Rabbi Lebovitz
is the current Rabbi of Adat Shalom in Los Angeles. Prior to
the rabbinate, Rabbi Lebovitz enjoyed a 10-year career in the film
industry as a writer, director, and producer. Most notably,
Rabbi Lebovitz wrote and directed the 2008 suspense-thriller
“Tortured,” starring Laurence Fishburne, Cole Hauser and James
Cromwell.
Rabbi Lebovitz continues to make films that explore the essence of
Judaism. He is the writer, director, and producer of two
highly regarded documentaries: “Roadmap Genesis” and “Roadmap
Jerusalem.”
